Η Νάταλι Χέινς διάβασε τους κλασικούς στο Cambridge, όπου εντάχθηκε στο Footlights, το κωμικό θεατρικό σχήμα του πανεπιστημίου. Ακολούθησε αρχικά καριέρα κωμικού. Από το 2006 διατηρεί επίσης στήλη στην εφημερίδα "The Times". Ζει στο Λονδίνο.
