Συγγραφέας

Η βρετανίδα Clare Mackintosh εργαζόταν στην αστυνομία για δώδεκα χρόνια, καριέρα που διέκοψε το 2011 για να δουλέψει ως σύμβουλος social media και δημοσιογράφος, ενώ υπήρξε η ιδρύτρια του λογοτεχνικού φεστιβάλ Chipping Norton. Έχει πλέον αφοσιωθεί αποκλειστικά στη συγγραφή. Ζει στη νότια κεντρική Αγγλία με τον αστυνομικό σύζυγό της και τα παιδιά τους. Το "Σ' άφησα" (I Let You Go), το πρώτο της βιβλίο, ήταν μπεστ σέλερ στη λίστα ευπώλητων των Sunday Times και των New York Times, ενώ μεταφράζεται σε περισσότερες από τριάντα χώρες. Τον Ιούλιο του 2016 εκδόθηκε το δεύτερο βιβλίο της με τίτλο "I See You" (Σε είδα), το οποίο είχε ανάλογη πορεία.
