Συγγραφέας

Η Edith Hall είναι καθηγήτρια στο Τμήμα Κλασικών Σπουδών και Κέντρο Ελληνικών Μελετών του King's College, στο Λονδίνο. Ειδικεύεται στην αρχαία ελληνική λογοτεχνία, όμως της αρέσει να συνδυάζει την αυστηρότητα της δουλειάς της με την ευχαρίστηση σε όλους τους τομείς της αρχαίας ελληνικής και της ρωμαϊκής ιστορίας, κοινωνίας και σκέψης. Από τη στιγμή που ξεκίνησε τη συνεργασία της με το King's College, δίδαξε μαθήματα σχετικά με την Αλεξανδρινή Λογοτεχνία, το Ελληνικό Θέατρο και πιο συγκεκριμένα τον Αισχύλο, και εργάζεται επάνω σε μια εισαγωγή στην Κατανόηση της Κλασικής Εποχής, σε έναν κύκλο δεκαέξι παραδόσεων.
